Ever wonder about our paw print?
It's actually a fairly short story. It all started in the Fall of 1995. our very first girls' team was getting ready for their first competition of the season. We were doing the uniform orders, leotards - etc. when one of the team parents came up to me and said...."You know what - we need a mascot." I started thinking.... and nothing really jumped out. A few months later the girls were trying on the leotards and warm ups and they were in a truly horrible mood. The same parent came up to me and said "Wow - the girls are grizzly today". And... the bear mascot was born. It has evolved over the years - our older teams carried stuffed bears to all the meets; we had paw prints on the uniforms, and its ever changing. But the PAW is here to stay, so don't forget your "PAW PRIDE"!!!
